At Wet Tech Energy, we design and manufacture durable mooring buoys for a wide range of marine applications. Whether you need aquaculture buoys, traditional mooring types, or custom navigation buoys, each product is carefully built to perform reliably in challenging offshore conditions. We offer mooring buoys for sale across the USA, trusted for their strength, stability, and long-lasting performance.

Wet Tech is the manufacturer, not a reseller: our steel mooring buoys are Made in Louisiana at our shop in Maurice, LA, in business since 1999, and built with a two-compartment steel hull. As a full-service mooring supply and installation company, we keep steel mooring buoys from 3 ft x 5 ft to 10 ft x 12 ft in stock to buy or rent, with anchors from 700 lb to 60,000 lb, chain and installation.

Our steel field stand-by buoys are built by Wet Tech Energy in Louisiana and used offshore as a field stand-by and mooring point for vessels. Like our steel mooring and pendant buoys, they are part of the largest buoy rental fleet in the United States, so you can buy or rent them. We can have steel buoys shipped on a truck within 1 hour of a PO or approval, and every Wet Tech steel buoy has a radar reflector built in.

Mooring Inspections

Anchor chain wears over time below the waterline. Regular mooring inspections catch worn links before they fail. Wet Tech inspects, cleans and repairs buoys and moorings. Call us or email us to schedule an inspection.

Buoy Recovery & Maintenance

Wet Tech recovers buoys and services them on deck. Every recovery includes a full inspection of the buoy's GPS, light and shackles, plus the mooring wire, mooring chain and anchor blocks. Anything that looks questionable gets replaced before the buoy goes back on station. We confirm the marker buoy is on location when we arrive and again before we leave. Call 337-893-9992 or email sales@wettechenergy.com.
