Swim Area Buoys and Barrier Lines
Mark swim areas with a line of foam-filled barrier floats on rod, rope or chain, and add regulatory buoys with a swim area or keep out message.
Lake Marker and No Wake Buoys
Our SP 10/60 can and nun spar buoys mark channels (green can to port, red nun to starboard) and, in white with orange bands, mark no-wake zones and controlled areas. They ride 36" out of the water with about 24" draft, so they work in shallow lake water. Check with the agency that governs your lake before placing regulatory markers.
Mooring Buoys and Lighted Markers
For boat moorings, use our foam-filled poly mooring buoys, 18" or 24", with installation available. For larger moorings, see our large steel mooring buoys. For a taller, lighted marker in shallow water or marsh, the M-711LP inland water buoy is self-righting, and its top lantern mount accepts lanterns from all major brands that we can supply and fit.
Anchors, Chain, Lights and Installation
We provide anchors, chain, custom mooring system solutions and USCG/IALA compliant LED lights from all major brands, fitted to the buoys we build, and our crews install buoys, floats and moorings.

Frequently Asked Questions
What buoys do I need for a lake?
Most lakes use regulatory spar buoys for no-wake and controlled areas, can and nun buoys to mark channels, barrier floats for swim lines and boat barriers, and poly mooring buoys for boat moorings. Call us and we will help you plan the layout.
What are swim area buoys?
Swim areas are usually marked with a line of barrier floats and regulatory buoys. Our barrier floats come in 24" diameter x 36" length (WT-BF-2436) and 18" diameter x 30" length (WT-BF-1830) and are completely foam-filled with 2 lb closed-cell foam.

Yes. Spar buoys can take an LED light on top, USCG/IALA compliant, from all major brands.
How are lake buoys anchored?
We provide anchors, chain and custom mooring system solutions sized for your lake.
Where are your lake buoys made?
Our rotomolding division in Houston, Texas, molds the polyethylene shells for our SP 10/60 spar buoys, barrier floats / pick up buoys and poly mooring buoys, and our Louisiana shop in Maurice finishes each one. Made in the USA. Wet Tech Energy is the manufacturer, not a reseller, in business since 1999.
